What is W.P. Rugby Kidz?

W.P.Rugby Kidz offers children between the ages of 5 and 12 an exciting rugby experience.The focus is on skills, fitness, safety in rugby and acquiring knowledge plus having loads of fun in a non-contact environment.

W.P. Rugby Kidz is the perfect environment for passionate Vodacom Stormers and budding WP stars to participate in a 9 month programme starting in March and ending in November.
The 9 month programme comprises of a 1 hour clinic each week for a total of 36 clinics in the year. W.P. Rugby Kidz is endorsed by W.P.Rugby as the official Kidz Programme.


Where & when will these clinics take place?

W.P. Rugby Kidz will be kicking off its programme for the very first time during 2010.With the goal of trying to reach as many children from all regions in the Western Cape.To start with we have identified the following venues:
  • Stellenbosch
  • Somerset West
  • Constantia
  • Rondebosch
  • Durbanville/Bellville
  • City Bowl
W.P. Rugby Kidz are asking you to suggest when the clinics should be held by filling in the attached form. Although one cannot promise that we will be able to accommodate everyones preference in the initial rollout, the management team of W.P.

Rugby Kidz does promise that they will do everything in their power to ensure that all children will get the opportunity to participate in this unique and exciting endeavour as soon as possible.

How much does it cost?

The 9 month programme costs R180 (incl VAT) per month with an up front administration fee of R150.

I agree to pay the initial registration fee of R150.00” and then “ I agree to pay the monthly fee of R180.00 on the first day of each month”

Indemnity

By submitting this application form and participating in the WP Rugby Kidz Initiative (including without limitation, any of the rugby training and coaching clinics) the participants, their parents and legal guardians indemnify, release and hold harmless Club Newlands (Proprietary) Limited, WP Sports Academy (Proprietary) Limited and the Western Province Rugby Football Union (collectively “the Organisers”) including their subsidiaries, holding companies and affiliates, their successors, assigns, directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors (collectively the “Indemnified Parties") from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the WP Rugby Kidz Initiative.

W.P. Rugby Kidz makes use of some excellent coaches from Primary Schools, Exercise Teachers Academy (ETA) students and Stellenbosch Rugby Academy students and the support of the professional W.P.Rugby players.
